About NT

Harmony is our
tradition.

Since 1982, New Tradition Chorus has been doing something wonderfully simple: bringing people together to sing. We’re a mixed-voice, four-part a cappella chorus rooted in the barbershop tradition — music that’s warm, close-knit, and completely human. No instruments, no electronics. Just voices finding each other in a chord.

Our repertoire stretches from the lush sounds of the 1930s all the way to music written today. Whatever era speaks to your heart, chances are we’ve sung it — or we’d love to try.

“We don’t just perform together. We become family.”

You don’t need to be a pro to belong here

Honestly? We love that question — “Is this for someone like me?” The answer is always yes. New Tradition Chorus welcomes singers of every age, every gender, and every experience level. If you’ve been performing for thirty years, wonderful. If you’ve never stood on risers in your life, even better. We genuinely mean it when we say everyone has a place here.

Our experienced singers mentor and inspire. Our newer members keep things fresh and remind us why we fell in love with singing in the first place. We teach, we grow, we laugh — and somewhere in all of that, we make some really beautiful music together.

Come rehearse with us

The best way to get a feel for who we are is to just show up on a Tuesday night. Seriously — come see what a rehearsal looks like. You’ll hear the music, meet the people, and probably leave humming something you didn’t expect to love.

Every Tuesday evening
7:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Visitors are always welcome. Come as you are — no audition, no commitment required for your first visit. Just bring your voice and your curiosity.

We’d love to have you. Whether you’re a curious first-timer or a seasoned singer looking for your people, we think you’ll feel at home with us pretty quickly. New Tradition Chorus isn’t just a chorus. It’s the group of people you didn’t know you were looking for.
